My first Scan
Just taking this opportunity to say i had my first scan yesterday. i'm 13 weeks + 5.
I'd been feeling a little bit "empty" not really knowing how i felt about the whole thing, but seeing my tiny baby's heartbeat made me feel so different. it was amazing and I've never felt anything like it!
i guess this is something a lot of pregnant women go through.

I'm so looking forward to it....even that much I have booked the following day off work so I can go to relatives and tell them! Its my first pregnancy and I was too worried at first but I feel ok now, so hopefuly I'll feel over the moon after Thursday xx Good Luck. Oh by the way....have you decided whether to find out the baby's sex on your next scan? I've decided not to find out, want everything to be a surprise! x
Congratulations!
The first scan is amazing, I had mine early (8wks+5days) so there wasn't too much to see but the little flickering heartbeat is brilliant.
The 20 week scan is fab too, you can see baby in more detail & it looks like a little person.
I'm now nearly 39 weeks and it feels like an age since I've seen my little one. I know I haven't got long til I see him for real but I'd like the reassurance of seeing him one more time before he comes out.
Hope your preg runs smoothly x

Aww i know exactly how you feel. We had a tough decision when we found out i was pregnant but seeing our baby for the first time we relised all the stress and anguish we'd been through was defintely worth it!

Hi all
I have my first scan tomorrow and I can't wait. A little worried I guess, fear of the unknown and I found out I was pregnant very early (I was only 4/5 weeks gone!), so I've known for ages but always worried as they always say the first 3 months are so critical.
I am now 11 weeks gone and hopefully tomorrow my mind will be put at rest and I'll hear that little heartbeat you are all talking about!
It brings a lump to my throat hearing all your stories and I feel truly blessed to be going through this, it's so amazing and special.
I just can't wait to see my little tadpole (the nickname my little one has adopted since we found out!) and what it's getting up to in there!
Happy pregnancies one and all!
Lots of love.x
