A friend of mine back in 1996 or 1997 it was when the Nintendo 64 first came out.He bought the consol by its self(No Game with it) and used to go to Global video & hire out the games. After having it for only a few months he took it it to 1 of these places to see what kind of deal he would get & they offered him 25 (this thing was in mint condition with the box & whatever else came with it my mate told them to get stuffed.Bear in mind this consol was still new in the market. They would buy it off him for 25 but would probably sell it for 60-65 at least.Of course this was way back but i believe they still operate in this fashion. They buy it off you for a cheap price but then sell it for a slightly higher price.
And i forgot to say to you bring some ID with you. This is something they ask for.I think they take your details just to make sure the stuff your selling isn't stolen.
You might get a better deal selling your stuff on ebay. Cash Converters take advantage of people desperate for a bit of cash.
best place to sell both CD's and DVD's is Amazon. I just sold about 2000 worth on their. Depends on how popular the stuff is you can get anythimg from 1.50 to 20.00. The advantage with Amazon over e-bay is 1. it targets people looking for a particulat CD/DVD and 2. there is no listing fee and no minimum time period. So if it doesn't sell you havent had to pay a penny.
