Can we have a profile search facility were we can see some basic info on users and send them private messages?

Pointless - any private information could be false.

And it would be very easy to send offensive / abusive / threatening emais to somebody while hiding behind those false details.

What i meant Ethel was questions like favourate catagory and how long you've been a member etc. And also email would be monitored and anything abusive could get the sender banned.

Crossroads, having received a genuine death threat on here and my full home address published, of which a private investigation is in full swing, plus offers of violence aimed at me nearly everyday, do you think it will be wise with the amount of ill and in bred people who come on here to type anything too personal?
