Anyone out there had a DVT (deep vein thrombosis)?
I had a knee op week and a half ago, developed calf pain last week.An ultrasound scan shows a clot above the knee in the femoral artery, but the pain is in the calf, and its an awful deep aching pain. I am on anti-coagulant therapy now.
Got any tips?

No tips I am afraid, but I think that you mean that the clot is in the femoral vein, not the artery. DVT is not an uncommon complication of operations on the hip or knee, and the treatment of choice is a tight elastic stocking on the affected leg and anticoagulants. Exercise during the day e.g 30 mins moderate walking. You will be fine.
