Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Can anyone help confirm the answers to these last two clues.

Jellicoe's mad mother (5) G?E?A

I've found the play The Sport of My Mad Mother by Ann Jellicoe - but can't find a cast list anywhere - Greta seems like the obvious answer, but I can't confirm it.

Extended description of Margaret Kennedy offering (6)

?P?E?D - Again SPREAD or possibly APPEND seems like the answer but I can't find the book title anywhere.

I can confirm Greta......

The only books I'm aware of Margaret Kennedy writing are The Constant Nymph & The Feast: neither are in Chambers. I have the C N in the house somewhere - will try to find it and see what turns up!

Thanks again - I have actually got a Dictionary of Literary Characters ( somewhere ) ! But was relying on Google.

On your tacit advice - I've gone back to my books.... And The Cambridge Guide to Literature in English is no help either.

Don't rush away from the net completely! I would suggest trying dogpile.com - it searches google, yahoo and several other browsers simultaneously and helped me find a notice of a production of "MAd Mother" together with director and full cast list.

Again - as well as forgetting about my book collection - I've forgotten that there is a world of Browsers outside of Google - Thanks for the advice -dundurn.

If you're doing the TLS 708 or 709, I've finished both, if you need any pointers !
