webcam on broadband

my webcam a logitech works ok on dial up, now i have broadband on a fixed IP addy and port...it wont connect on msn and wont let me see others either....v important as i have family abroad who i want to see. Is it a port setting or firewall setting, ive tried everything??

most likely your firewall, as thats probably whats changed since you were on dialup, if you havent already try using the MSN help, going through whatever webcam detection/test it has built in. Failing that, google is your friend, use it to search for your problem but use common terms like 'webcam not working msn'
