Electric shower problem?
3 Answers
I have an electric shower problem, I don't know how old it is but at least 4 years old and now it only works on 1 setting which is medium and also the water flow isn't great but I'm not sure if all electric showers have quite a weak flow as I haven't had 1 before. Do you think I need a new one?
Thank you

If the shower is electrically powered and does not rely on water from a seperate hot tank then It sounds like one of the heating elements has blown.
If the water pressure you get from the shower is less than that from other taps in the house then the shower is more likely to be cream crackered.
good luck

Hard to say without looking at it, but it could just be that the shower head is blocked, take off the spay head and switch the shower on to see what the flow is like, if it is quite strong clean out all the little holes in the head, it could also mean you have had slight drop in water pressure, so open stop tap a little more, if it doesn't improve after trying these, get it looked at by an electrician, they are normally quite easy to replace, good luck, Ray
