I once saw a dog in Birmingham nick a joint of ham from the butchers and no-one noticed...it made my day

A woman in an antique shop had just purchased �7000 (as was then) worth of jewellery. The dealer wrapped up the goods, and his dog, an alsation, promptly grapped the package and dissapeared up the road - starting a merry chase. Same dog also crashed the owners automatic car by treading on the controls!! But I dont think he ever raided the butchers shop!

A couple of years ago, I walked my dog past a local cricket match when he disappeared into the make-shift pavilion where teas were being prepared. He emerged a few seconds later scoffing back a sausage clearly visible in his jaw, with the cook waving a fist but fortunately with a smile. Other onlookers, and myself, were very amused.
