hi,every time I start my computer up a programme called "trayapp" tries to load, but can't as it is looking for files from a disc or somewhere. if you try to close it, it immediately tries to start again.
how do I get rid of it, ot what is it?

if you have an hp printer it is related to that so insert your printer software when it is looking for the disc
if you dont have an hp printer remove it from your startup items using msconfig
click start/run type msconfig in the box
select startup and un tick any references to trayapp
next time windows starts you will get the selective startup box tick the dont tell me again box

thanks matt1e, your right, I just changed my printer from an h.p. to a kodak and disabled the h.p, so some of the programme must be still active, I will remove the rest.
regards,
alf.
