New Telephone Please

I want to buy a new telephone set, don't know the term for them but the ones where you can buy a 'set' of hand held ones and use them in different rooms. I had one of these hand held phones before (not a set, only one) and it 'echoed' a lot, what make would you recommend? I already have a Panasonic answerphone in my office upstairs so don't want to replace that. Just want two for lounge and kitchen downstairs. Thanks for any advice you can give me.

We got a Panasonic set a couple of months ago and think it's great.

There are loads of them, but Panasonic and BT Diverse have the best reputations.

Check out the facilities, like SMS text, CLI Indication etc, or you may end up paying for things you don't want/need.

Ebay do em or you could go to your local PC World or Maplins or even Makro or your local BT phone shop....
