Holiday Friendship

Have your ever met anyone on holiday that you still keep in touch with. We met two couples
on a cruise in 2002 and have been holidaying
with them ever since.

I/we are still in touch with two different people, one German, one English, I met in Europe in the autumn of 1967. Both married and had children, as I did. We have never been on holiday together but we have seen each other since and exchange Christmas cards without fail.

Yes,we met a couple 15yrs ago,we live in yorkshire and they live in scotland,we see them at least 10 times each year,they come to all our birthdays,weddings,family parties and we all still holiday together,they are part of our family now.We cant seem to shake them off(only joking)love em to bits.

I never seem to have that sort of luck.

When I attended an international conference in Adelaide, back in 1986, I was hoping that I might get to know people from all over the world, so that I could have some cheap holidays. However, while I met lots of great people, there was only one guy who I knew would have been happy to invite me into his home. Unfortunately, a visit to his home city at that time might have ended up with me staying in his country rather longer than I intended (as Terry Waite did). Yes, the only close friend I made was head of the Unesco mission in Beirut! ;-)

Hi , we met a couple on holiday that we still keep in touch with. I was (like Buenchico) and thought great somewhere else to visit cheap but as it turned out they only lived 5 miles down the road. So we see them nearly every week.

Yes 6 years ago I met a Dutch girl whilst on Holiday in Holland we not only kept intouch we ended up getting Married

Yes absolutely, we have been going to the greek islands for 10years now and now have a greek son we think is our own, and watched him gettin married, last year. And also went to a greek wedding in athens 2 years ago, and met many freinds from uk, and we now all sychronise our hols so we can meet up again
