Dinner for children
Can anyone give me a recipe for a children's meal? I have the care of 4 children, who will not all be eating at the same time, so I need a recipe that I can make earlier in the day and then just heat up, in the style of spaghetti bolognese, where I can have it ready to serve from the pan. (or cooker)
Thank you.
Thank you.

The potatos would take an hour in the oven (always nicer than microwave) and the fillings can be done at the last minute depending on what they want. Either that or Salad.... its warm enough for it!

There are loads of recipes here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/apps/ifl/food/showrecord? templatestyle=chef&config=chef&page=1&pagesize =15&Id=Annabel+Karmel Would you be able to get the kids to actually help in the prep.....they would probably love that, and to then eat what they have made........they may even help with the washing up-lol!
We have our own style of spaghetti bolognaise....fried mince (drained to get rid of as much fat as possible) add gravy to it just for a sauce, add half a tin of baked beans, some peas and some sweetcorn. Gently heat up and simmer for 5 minutes.
Of course you could transfer the above to individual dishes and add mash potato to the top...chuck in oven until browned slightly and then add a handful of grated cheese and grill....cottage/shepards pie in individual diahes which can be frozen if needed.
