The Abdulmajid perfect Greek salad.

1) 1/2 a cucumber with the skin taken off, thinly sliced
2) 3 large ripe toms thinly sliced
3) 1 Spainish Onion (the purple ones) thinly sliced
4) 1/2 wedge of feta cheese cut in 1cm cubes

Mix altogether.

Then drizzle over some good quality oil. Many reciped say Olive, but for The Abdul Special, use Walnut oil. It is just as healthy as Olive with all the right omega wotsits.

Then sprinkle with mixed herbs or rosemary.

I sometimes add sliced green and black olives, but these are not really essential.

Eat with tzatzki (sp??), premade IS better than homemade! and warm doughy white bread.

Any combination of cucumber / tomatoes / feta / olives with dressing is fine - but use fresh herbs, especially at this time of year when everything is available.
when I lived in Cyprus the salad was usually tomatoes, cucumber, onion, black olives and flat leaf parsley, coarse salt, olive oil and lemon juice. I now add feta cheese myself, but never had it in salad there.
i like black and green olives, sun kissed tomatoes, roasted red peppers and feta cheese with olive oil.
Yes, but not too much feta chese. =D
