I am getting AOL broadband with a wireless router. My existing PC is not wireless enabled. How do I make my PC connect with the wireless router?

you will get a yellow lead with the router plug that into the router then into your computer. all the info you will need comes on the disc that aol send you with the router. just follow the online instructions when you put your disc into the computer.

if it's a desktop computer and the router is next to the PC then don't make it wireless!!

Wireless is not a fast, stable, or secure as wired connections, it's only benifit is mobility, as you are unlikely to want to pick up a desktop computer, monitor and keyboard, mouse and walk round the house using it you have no need for wireless at all!

Wireless seems to be the new buzzword for people and everyone seems to think they need it... A lot of people don't though.

do as DrFilth says and use the cable that comes with it.

My desktop is next to the router so that is hard wired and I use it for online purchases, online banking and other sensitive transactions.

My laptop is wireless - I use it to browse the internet in the garden, and away from home. I wouldn't use it for sensitive transactions though. Better to be as safe as possible than sorry.
