White Gold ring?

I recently bought a "white gold" ring from a jewellers in Jersey. Thing is, it's got "750AG" stamped on it, and isn't AG the chemical symbol for silver?

BTW white gold is usually an alloy of gold, palladium, zinc and perhaps silver. This is usually coated with rhodium to produce a more lustrious "white" color. Nickel was once used but some people have reactions to nickel, therefore it's use it limited...
