well ok thanks for calling me a fool, so i shall give thee a sensible answer, it is illegal to sell furniture for use in the home that is not proofed against being flammable. they all have an inherant fire retardance, so i would imagine that it would be safe. but to be sure ask any any stockist of matresses.
