my cam belt on my 2002 Renault Magane Figi
any idea of the cost & should this have had a new one fitted @ about 7,000 miles

doc spock how do you know it hasnt damaged anything?? the cylinder head has to come off to see how much damage there is

Renault cambelt changes are usually 70000miles or every 5 years whichever comes first but is recommended earlier to be safe.

The cost could be between �150 and �1500 depending how much damage has been done.
