Heartbroken and petless

Today i woke for the first time in 33 years to a empty house i had to have my beloved scottie put to sleep last night and feel like my heart is breaking,i cant sto crying.He was nearly 14 and his arthritus had got so bad that he didint even want to go for his walk but when i came in from work he had poohed weed and been sick,which was black everwere and looked so sad that i just had to take him and have him put to sllep it was very quick but i feel so bad that his last day he was on his own being ill while i was at work Mr Herbie tells me i did the right thing but i miss him soo much,sorry i know this isent a question but i know your all animal lovers in here

Sorry to hear that herbie. Your dog had a long life and was obviously much loved and you did the last kindness you could for him. You allowed him to die with dignity, bless him. It will take time but allow yourself to grieve and you will one day be able to remember him and the good times.
