Mousepad on laptop

Hello :o)

The right hand side of the mouse pad on my laptop is used for scrolling up and down the screen - so I just have to rub my finger up and down to move the screen up and down.

It's interfering with playing online games though, is there any way of disabling this function, please?

hover the mouse over all the icons down by the clock, do you have one that says synaptics touchpad?

if you do have it, and if you double click on it you will get the properties for the mouse pad, you can turn off virtual scrolling in there, on mine I have to click touchpad settings under the device settings tab, may be slightly different on yours though
