ITV should lose the right to exist. They are absolute rubbish anyway, so why pick on this? Give FA Cup rights, Dexter, and Coronation Street to the BBC, then close them down.
Of course, their gaff (by no means the first) was made a lot worse by the fact that it came as a goal (the only excitement in a dire match) was scored. If they'd only missed a throw-in, people would laugh at them rather than berate them, but their football coverage is pretty woeful generally.
As for David Pleat, who is too stupid to learn how to pronounce players' names properly, he sounds like the school nerd who only pretends to like football so he won't get bullied.
