hi, think my hamster might have died, not sure thou, he might be hibernating, how can i tell?/

I really did have visions of him being buried alive! Thank Gawd you came back to this thread musicmummy!. As I said mine's never hibernated, but that's probably due to him being in a warm house. So glad I Googled to check if what I said was true (or as it turned out- not). Though I'm sure another ABer would have happily corrected me.

Keep us updated? I'm sure i've aged 5 years over this post....lol

Oh god, my daughters hamster died on friday & i buried her in the garden, worried sick now i read this :(

you could always dig them up again and see if there are little tiny scratch marks on the inside of box.

thatll give you an idea :)

My friend's granny put her hamster on the cooker to see if it was just hibernating.
