Coronation Street - Oh dear.....
33 Answers
Having watched Coronation Street "trial" I was a bit confused by the following:
A case taking 4 weeks to get to court
The Star witness being in a realtionship with the person assaulted - it wouldnt even have got to court
The charge was malicious wounding - how could it be when there were no weapons used?
Surely the cast wouldnt have warranted a jury?
Wouldn't the judge have dismissed the case as soon as Tina admitted lying?
I know its only a soap but every aspect of it was totally wrong

When Tracy popped back into No.1, Karen climbed into the driving seat and drove off. It was not until later that Karen realised that baby Amy was in the back.
Steve and Tracy hurried to the Red Rec, only to find the car on fire. Tracy instantly assumed that Karen had killed Amy, and she returned to Coronation Street vying for blood. The two women ended up fighting on the roof of Underworld and it wasnt until Tracy found out that Amy was alive and well that Tracy laid off.
It was the worst possible Christmas for Karen and Steve. Steve told Karen that he had had enough of her and that he could not believe she would pull a stunt like she did letting him believe that she had killed his own daughter. Karen pleaded with Steve to give her another chance but he said that shed had too many chances already.
Karen McDonald left the Street on Boxing Day 2004.

Yep, Debs trial was tonight, Blimey Hotten C.C is a biggin' from the outside anyway, Jasmine comes back near the end and fesses up to Shanes murder, meanwhile back in the Wooly, the Dingles are celebrating....with no one serving behind the bar! Do you know any pubs like this? so the village sap, Shadrach, helps himself to the drink optics and seves others too...errr, hello, where the eff is Diane, Val or the posh bit of totty they've just taken on, no wonder pubs are closing (laffin!)
