Images in Firefox
Why do some images not appear in Firefox? I am not blocking pop-ups or ads, or using noscript. If I look at the same page in Internet Explorer the image is there. What's going on?

However, almost any problem with Firefox can be solved by simply reinstalling it. (Don't uninstall it first. Simply install it 'on top of itself'. You'll keep all of your bookmarks and personal settings but, hopefully, your graphics problem should be fixed).

The website is http://www.royalmint.com/store/BritishGold/SV0 9.aspx, and the missing image should go right in the middle of the page; a picture of a sovereign in a box.
It would appear to be your flash player add on, try and install it from this link.

Chuck:
Spriggins has typed a comma at the end of that link which, through the absence of a space, has been absorbed into the link, making it invalid.
Dabees seems to have correctly identified the problem as being that Flash is either not installed, or not functioning.

AB's Technology section is full of posts relating to Flash Player not working. Dabees has given you the correct link but if Flash is already present on your PC (but not functioning) you'll probably need to uninstall it first, before getting the download. (In XP go to Add/Remove Programs, from the Control Panel, and remove 'Adobe Flash Player Plug-in'. In Vista go to Start-> Control Panel-> Programs-> Programs and Features, to access the Add/Remove Programs applet).
