driving test

i have been driving for over two years - on an automatic licence...i am now going to take the manual test

do i need to retake the theory test?

i don't think i do, as i have been on the road 2 years...but they are only valid for 2 years if you dont pass your test...and i just wondered if it would be some technicality which meant i had to retake...
