My 6 month old loves avocado, has anyone got a way of removing this from her clothes? I have tried many of the vanish type things and they work on most foods but not avocado....

have you tried scraping it off? i got some on my jeans the other day & that worked. i can't think of any other possible solutions, sorry.

when our wee guy started on solids he too loved avocado, and banana, which can also be very hard to get off clothes.  Eventually, we resorted to big bibs with sleeves and even a burp cloth over his lap, as I couldn't find anything that successfully removed the stain (tho I think the Oxy pre-treatment spray worked best for me).....even if I tried to wash it very soon after the mess.   I usually keep a couple of bibs for really messy foods, and just buy new ones periodically when they are just too stained to wear.

A method passed own to me that really works is to hand your washing out overnight when frosty.  The stains are gone when the frost has thawed.
