MM Links July 2009 [Week 1]

Good Morning AB-Linkers and Welcome!
Well, it's been about 2 years since I was last 'Queen' Julia of the Links and lots have happened in that time (as I'm sure this is true for all of us). The most important and enjoyable turn of events is that I became a grandmother in December and I am loving it. Also, I have taken on a part-time job working for an Insurance Company in Ipswich, just on a "temporary basis". I was originally supposed to work for 6 weeks, but I have now been there for over a year and I still don't know when I am due to finish.

On the days I don't work, Jim and I love to tour around Suffolk, looking around the old churches and the villages with their thatched cottages. I'm always amazed at the number of people who come from all over the world to these small villages and churches. I also enjoy corresponding with my relatives and acquaintances that live abroad. Of course this used to be done by letter, but now it is mainly by email. We also love looking around Art Galleries. I hasten to add that I know very little about Art. Jim has a better understanding of the various mediums and techniques used than I do. However, I do enjoy looking at the end results and often wish that I could produce something half as good as some of them.

Anyway enough of that for now. Down to business!
