You use a public toilet and wash your hands before you leave,(I hope). That, maybe a waste of time, the person leaving in front of you may not have washed theirs. What is the last thing you do before you leave the building ?Use the door handle. How many times have you seen a person leaving without using the tap..Yuk...
i use tissue to touch handles too but once im out i always have wet wipes and that anti bacterial gel that you use to dry wash your hands but i do try to avoid public toilets unless its an emergency!
I wash my hands and then attempt to open the door without touching it with my skin! (sleeve wrapped round hand etc.)
I try not to use public loos (unless absolutely necessary) but quite like the service stations cos they often have no doors on leaving the loo area and have remote flushing.
mind you, I spent two weeks recently living in a field, so I can't afford to be that precious about it!
What is the last thing you do before leaving the building you ask. Well after all the hygiene bit to escape , I make sure my skirt isn't tucked up in my knickers.
Have done just that a couple of times and believe me there is no embarrasment like it.!!!!!
lol brenda. I once stalked down a certain magistrates court precincts with my skirt tucked in my knickers. That was about 5 years ago and it is still laughed about.
you come out of the toilet, turn on the tap, wash your hands, turn off the tap. That's the bit I worry about how many potentially dirty hands have touched the tap? the wet wipes sounds like the best solution.
that's why I like those 3 in one wash things water soap and dryer all in one you touch nothing just shakes your hands about so you touch nothing.
And those people go on to touch money, articles in shops etc which we all in turn touch.
How many people actually wash their hands properly anyway?
Abotu 5 years ago where I worked we were on a training course and all told to wash our hands with this "gel" stuff and then a light (or something was waved over the top of them) it showed up all the places people hadn't washed properly. The only guy in the group who had 100% clean hands was a surgeon.
