USB Record Player

I'm thinking of getting one of those USB record players that allows you to transfer vinyl LP's to the PC and then to disc/mp3. Has anyone used one, and are they worth buying?

HAve converted around 200 lps so far. The decks you refer to are OK though from all the reports I have had, but a bit more expensive way of doing it, but possibly less hassle.

I did something similar to Androcles. I unfortunately can't remember the website but for about £20 I got a lead which connects my stereo to my computer and a cd of software called "audacity". This puts lps or cassettes onto my pc and I can even split them up into separate tracks.
Seems a lot more reasonable than the price of a USB turntable. As regards results, the quality is as good as what you put in, i.e you will still have record noise but then again some people like that.
