bailiffs letter.
5 Answers
hi, i have recently had a letter from a bailiff demanding i pay a bill, i spoke to the is company and they told me who the debt was from.
i have never once recieved an invoice from this company and now the bailff has put a £100 charge on top of the original bill?
i have spoken to the company who i owe this debt to (its a business debt) and the main person wouldnt talk to me?
is this legal sending a debt collection company to collect a debt that has not been invoiced?

The debt recovery firm then add on their fees so they make a profit ans then you pay. In this case the law is on their side 100%. The longer you leave it the more will be added.
Take my advice, pay now. A friend once went down this route of 'i'm not paying' and lost much of what he had worked for in the end.
