I have tried to power up my computer. The power light comes on and the HD light comes on and goes active but there are no starting beeps and it does nothing. I removed the memory and the pc showed no signs that it noticed. I removed the video card and reseated it and it had no affect. Please advise.
prev I have an Ipod Touch Elis. Everything works except the sound has gone when i want to play music. It actually plays but there is no sound. Any ideas!

Disconnect the power connector from the Hard disk, turn on and see what happens.

^^ not sure how you'd do that with an unbootable machine.

U should have made it clear, that my suggestion wasn't intended as a cure, but as a diagnostic.
