When I am scrolling down through a webpage using the wheel on the mouse it keeps on constantly refrshing the page without any of the buttons or the wheel button being clicked- it is most annoying and I dont know why it is happening.

Have checked the mouse options in control panel but cant see anything amiss any ideas ?

It's fairly normal - nowt to do with your mouse but with the way pages are rendered in CSS. You'll see it if there are lots of pics on the page. What happens is that as you scroll down, pictures that were not in view are downloaded and the page is then reformatted to accommodate them.
