As for poodi, I think she's Scottish - so Y should she perfect her English? I understood her comment; which was directed at the TV program she was watching.

Take your english corrections where they belong - in school, not a website ! It's LOW to demean ppl by your 'considered' lack of education.

Captain-jack, you have pointed out my habit for 'generalistaion' on a lot of my threads. I, unlike you, cannot claim to be an expert on all things in life, and can only give my own opinions based on my own experience. I'm sure I could Google things and come up with a long boring list of statistics, but so could the poster - I thought the whole point of asking the question was to get individual opinions. I would also like to say that I am glad you feel so superior in making others feel small. You have no idea of other users' abilities, they may have learning difficulties, dyslexia or a generally poor education caused by all sorts of circumstances. What gives you the right to come onto a public forum and criticize others' English? Does poor spelling or grammar somehow make them lesser beings than you? On the contrary, I find users on here who are not so pedantic, to be far more compassionate and helpful than those snotty nosed individuals who care far more about where an apostrophe should be placed than actually helping people out.
