who said anything about stats craft? you really should stop trying to make assumptions you are terrible at it. All I'm after is a list say down one side of who is currently logged in, that's all no big deal. .bex. you are going to have to help me out there, looks like you are from the craft school of missing the point to me!

...and if you never Log Out then you will still be listed as Logged In even when you are not actively using the site.

All those websites which I've come across that shows the logged-on members, they also have an option which allows members to hide their status, and whether they want to be seen or not. Perhaps this might be the same on here; then that won’t be effective, you would still not be able to see all those who are logged on, or not. Allowing the contents of the site to be viewed and used only by logged on members would be more effectual to your point, R1Geezer.

Logged-in lists are actually pretty common features on most webforums.

I agree with R1, actually, I think it'd be good. It's not so you can keep a rigorously accurate tab on who is and isn't online, it's just so you can see who is around who could respond to your posts.
