I was diagnosed with an underactive thyroid a few years ago, after feel ill for no apparent reason, couldn't put my finger on what was wrong. My arm and leg muscles ached, going upstairs was a nightmare. I was also cold all the time. I didn't put up with it for long though, I went to the doctor and was diagnosed put on tablets and never looked back.
If you've been diagnosed and put on thyroxine then the aches should go. If you've got them in spite of the tablets, then please go back to your doctor for help.
