chicken and mushroom pie

how do you make the sauce for a chicken and mushroom pie? i would love to have a go and making one myself, i love the pukka pie version especially the sauce, yum!

try using campbells concentrated chicken soup or the mushroom one

except it isn't campbells anymore, it's batchelors.

i once tried this over pasta and it was horrid. any recipe,ingredients, herbs to add to this sauce?

make a basic white sauce with flour butter and milk S&P, add garlic, thyme or tarragon is nice with chicken, add a dash of Worcestershire sauce too if you like it
