Hi can anyone explain please.

my wife has just bought an ipod nano this now makes two ipods in our house, my daughter having the other.
We registered it, got the itunes page up but my daughters list of songs came up and automatically synced with my wifes. I managed to stop the automatic syncing but my question is why doesn't my wifes unit have its own seperate itunes page with what downloads she has on it, or is there a way of achieving this. (she is registered with apple itunes and has her own p/word etc)

You can run multiple ipods with separate selections.
If you are using a single library then you should set a playlist(s) for each device.
When you sync the device then on the left menu click the ipod under Device. Go to Music select Selected Playlists, artists etc. Point the playlist or artist selections underneath to your wife's playlist selection(s)
