Help please with IPlayer.

Is it possible to download a programme like Friday Night with J/Ross
on BBC Iplayer and send it to my daughter in an e-mail etc in Macau (near to Hong Kong) as it wont work there?

Yes. I think you need to download Adobe Air. There should be a 'download this programme' link on the programme page...

Any programme downloaded will be huge though in terms of file size so emailing is probably not an option.

Can you find the programme on Youtube and email the link to your daughter instead?

I went to J/Ross and it started playing but cant see where it says download.

There's usually a 'download' button, with the size of the file shown afterwards in brackets, bottom right, under the programme 'start' page (I'm looking at BBC3, see example in link below).

And if you cannot find the programme on Youtube to email a link, you could download it and post a disc to your daughter instead...

I would say yes (I've never done it myself). Hopefully Chuck or someone with experience of downloading from iPlayer will see this thread later and confirm...
