Rang and made appointment for this afternoon to see gp as still in alot of pain
which is spreading up my back towards kidneys. Plus im majorly weak still and dizzy. Never had the symptons last this long with previous ruptured cysts.. Is it possible the infections spreading??

definately do sqad i feel lousy.... was hoping the antibiotics would be working and be better by now.. all my abdomen is hurting from low down to around belly button and across the lower back to around same height.

Well... still non the wiser!!

Told her everything and she felt my stomach and listened to it too.. also checked urine which was normal as was temp. Didnt check blood pressure though.

She said too me what do you want to do?? ermm whose the doctor?? She said two options as she hasnt a clue go to a&e or she can rush through a pelvic ultrasund. So gone for the latter option.. But been told if gets worse in meantime to go straight to the hospital.

Given prescription for codeine phosphate 30mg and thats about it. So now a waiting game

She sounds somewhat useless looby!! I think you have chosen the best option, but only 'think'. She should be advising you of the best option surely. Personally, I would have asked for a second opinion. You can't go on like this. If it does get any worse, please do go to A&E and make sure you tell them that your Dr. has advised that you do this.

Stomach felt normal....good sign..no peritonitis or infection.
Urine ..normal........good sign.

A&E sounds a bit "over the top".

Pelvic scan....good move.

Codeine for the pain..standard practice.

Now just relax.

didn't she give you different anti-biotics looby? AND what lofty, said, if it gets any worse or doesn't seem to be easing go to the hospital . good luck with it xx

thanks sqad been trying to relax as much as possible with having my autistic 4yr old isnt easy nor can i get comfy with the pain.
