My brother got married in Hamilton coming up a year ago so spent some time there and Burlington, trip up to Niagara then in Toronto itself with a very good friend from uni.
She took me up to Aurora and round Fairy Lake and such and we got up to the fantastic zoo...in fact sure we went through Scarborough on the way to the zoo as stopped off as her dad was at the hospital there I think.
I was determined to see both a chipmunk and a racoon. Got to see chipmunks at the zoo but racoons proved a bit more of a challenge, even on trash day! My friend was very indulgent and we had a rather "scenic" tour of possible coon spotting places!
They all seemed to have legged it before I got anywhere, though maybe the rottweiler in the car might have put them off, but finally found some round the back of the science museum and got to see a load.
I think the locals thought I was a bit mental!
I loved it over there though the "Sausage Biscuit" adverts still haunt me, much as I LOVED Tim Horton's, esp the drive throughs!
I can also safely say my previous Taco Bell cravings from being in California years and years ago have been well and truly curtailed haha :)
