Hi, my husband and I went to York for a couple of days, we got back last night, while we were having a browse around York City centre we came across a shop called The Cat Gallery, we had to have a look in and "wow" what a shop, it has anything and everything to do with our feline friends, some things were a bit pricey but lovely.  I came away with a door mat with a cat on it saying " Welcome Home " and a key ring.  There is only 2 of these shops the other one is in Edinburgh, they also have web site to order from its -  www.thecatgallery.co.uk    :-)

Hiyah catwoman,appreciated having a wee look round what they have! Am having to be very selective these days,in my cat purchases! I had so many cat things around,that my husband was a bit p'd off!! He loves our cats like they were kids,but he reckons you don't need SO many reminders ! I have given some ornaments etc to charity shops,so am being very good at the moment!

I came across the one in Edinburgh last month whilst on holiday up there - what a fab shop!

They had downstairs dedicated to cats and then upstairs was the same, only for dogs.  I could have spent a fortune in there.

I have been on the website but it only sells a fraction of what is available in the shop so to anyone visiting York or Edinburgh, I definately recommend they call in!

As I live in Leeds, I've visited the York shop and can definitely recommend it - there are some lovely kitty things!

Hi and thank you for your replys, I throughly enjoyed being in this, and just had to tell the cat lovers about it. I will be buying on line for a christmas present for my 3 kitties, and another treat for me too!.....  :-)
