Have to say im torn!

The bigger part of me says she's just as capable of doing a job as the next person, however I will admit a small part of me would do a double take if I walked into a smart office environment and she was there.

Whatever gave you the idea that blokes who work in banks wear fake/clip on ties Dotty? I can assure you that it isn't true of most banks. My oh has worked in one for over 5 years and has always worn the bank issued uniform of suit, shirt and perfectly normal tie.
