Break Time
32 Answers
I have come in for a cuppa and a biscuit. I have two sacks of bulbs which I am busily planting out. It's hurting my back and has got boring and the dog keeps pestering me to play ball.
Just thought I'd share that information!!

love is like a butterfly
often wispy sometimes rare
forever though it is meant to be
time runs out for you and me
your affections are taken somewhere else
languishing deep for another, not me
or perhaps for a biscuit you can dunk in your
tea, which is nice if it don;t break or goes too floppy
them ones are annoying that fall in the cup
it makes your tea sweet and the biscuit goes yuck
even then, all i ever wanted was a …kiss, or a borboun, or a hobnob

carry on, as you were you fiend
having a laugh, point at me say ‘urrrgh’
is it not right that I should be upset?
nothing funny about getting me wet
after all, it was you that made me like this
drowning and wallowing in my own damp little world
only tears and sadness and uncomfortableness
lonely and damp, is just how you’ve left me
laugh at me -you’ll see, I will annoy you like wee

sorry I didn’t answer your question
other things had taken my attention
could have been worth a little mention
i beg of you to give me detention
every part of me yearns for abstention
try as I might there is far too much tension
you are near and I am here, lets run off together and spend all my pension

Have just cleared up outside and washed up my lunch things and thought I would peep in and see you - and awaiting me were the lovely poems of Ankou. How nice!! I do love poetry. I used to write a lot of it right from being a very little girl. The ones I write now are more prose like but always very gloomy and sad - what does that say about me?
Keep writing the poetry Ankou :o).
Headwreck. I am just like you. I plan everything out, but the most pleasure is from the unexpected in the garden, things you didn't mean to happen but work out so well - flowers that seed themselves, etc. What I also like is that my garden never ever looks the same for two years running. And sitting outside in the winter with a cuppa anticipating what might happen in the garden in the spring is such a delight. Spring flowers are also my favourite, but I love the colours at this time of the year.
I now ache all over - I should have stopped a lot earlier!!
