hi all im looking to get my bf a personalised number plate for Christmas, if i was to get the plate does anyone no what details i would need to send off with this :)

I'll just add, it's a fairly quick and very easy process to transfer the plate once you've purchased it.

Some 'independant' companies will sell you the plate and do all the paperwork for you (for a fee) but it's really no bother to do yourself.

I did that for my missus, sort of, only I changed her name by deed poll to NU096RH
