I must disagree with Invictas. Forced to choose between constipation and diarrhoea, I would unhesitatingly choose the latter. I have had experience of both on more than one occasion.

Reminds me of the time when I was about 7 yrs old and we were having a posh tea out in company. My mother was suffering from pyorrhea of the gums and couldn't eat much. When the hostess pressed her to a piece of cake I proudly announced she couldn't eat it because she had diarrohea. Little children definitely should be seen and not heard at the table ;o(
