Did anyone see the vasectomy live on this morning tv. That was enough to put any chap off.

ummmmmm yes I did Maggie and I was squirming for the poor fellow. I can't help but think the Doctor did not administer adequate local anaesthetic, causing the poor fellow to gasp. I would of found it interesting but for that! I am sure that was not typical, however that could put a lot of men off !!

Watched my hubby getting his... middle of November at night in Drs surgery the window was wide open and it was freezing... not enough anaesthetic! and the smell of burning flesh.... now we know why the window was open!!!!

I didn't see this particular show, but your comment made me laugh.  There used to be a show on the Discovery Health cable TV channel here called "The Operation."  They showed actual film footage of various surgeries.  My husband could sit there watching brain surgery or an appendectomy and eat his supper at the same time, no problem.  Then one evening the subject was a vasectomy.  Well, he curled up like a boiled prawn and moaned that this was disgusting, they shouldn't show something like that on TV.  (By the way, the program didn't bother me one bit.)
