my corsa engine management light has been coming on for months but when i've revved it up a bit the lights gone out and running normal but then yesterday the light came on and revving didn't put light out it is now racing all the time about 1500 revs maybe choke stuck any other ideas ? it starts ok and ticks over ok if only faster and racing

sounds like youve got a faulty sensor around the engine somewhere. best bet is to take it into a dealer which will cost a bit but the will find the prob
