if you agreed to meet someone in their lunch hour that you hadnt seen for six months and they had extended their lunch for 1 1/2 hrs, would you expect to be eating lunch together if you knew you were going to a pub for example?

nb. Dick, well he is called Richard funnily enough!
God what an awful man. I can't believe that even his family have told him off about it but yet he still does it! Have you ever actually told him? I will!! Give me his email address!! I have a couple of friends like this. One is on my course and I have never even seen so much as buy a coffee the whole year. He brings his sarnies in, in a plastic bag and drinks from the water fountain. He's the only one in our class who is working full time- and has just bought a house. He admitted himself that he is a skinflint! I have another friend who just simply never ever ever buys drinks in a pub. He is poor, but aren't we all? I had to tell him that when we go out with my parents (who are paying for the meal) it is polite to offer to buy a drink at the start. My parents will always refuse, but you OFFER. It's also a really naive trait- expecting the 'adults' to pay for you the whole time. Then suddenly you are an adult and still taking like a child. I think he needs to be told.
