Rhubarb Crown

How far from the surface should a crown be planted. I have 2 in pots of reasonable sixe both sproutong OK but seem a bit frail.

We also grow rhubarb in pots & can't wait to make crumbles with it again.

just a tip but well rotted horse manure is good for rhubard not long after putting this on our rhubard started growing better.

....I can't wait either. It's sooooooo expensive to buy in the shops. My rhubarb is already about 6 inches tall. Try making rhubarb ice-cream if you haven't tried it already (you don't need an ice-cream maker but it saves on the elbow grease if you have). mmmmmmm

I don't know why people tell you to put horse manure on their rhubarb - I always put custard on mine!
