Well, if MPs have to stop putting each other down, at least Parliamentary sittings will be shorter.

JJ - I feel you are deliberatly ignoring the points i am making.

No-one - least of all MP's who are hardly shrinking violets - have any problem with robust debate, it is the very bedrock of democracy and Parliamentary proceedure.

But this was not debate, it was being loudly pompous and unfunny in an attempt to quietn an MP who was pointing out that the PM's last remark was in fact, not true.

Debate, vigourous and passionate is absolutely fine and welcome.

Shouting down a Member who is pointing out an inaccuracy is not - it's really as simple as that.
