I got round to buying the book at the weekend, but had always vowed I would. I'm now 200 pages in and I've found it pretty harrowing to read.

Anyone else read it and what did you think?

i haven't read it and probably never will. Working across 2 stores this last month since it's release I know how many have been sold within the one company and it is a staggering amount for a hardback, pretty much unprecedented. The publisher will have huge cheque waiting for the mccanns

Let's hope that it's enough money to keep the investigation going until they find out what happened to her.

I read the "free" sample available on Kindle and it did make me rethink my opinion of the case. I am tempted to buy it, so will watch for comments here with interest.
Yeah, I downloaded it to my kindle, and I have to admit i was nervous, for want of a better word, about getting to the bit where she disappeared. As you've said harrowing NoM and something I wouldn't wish on my worst enemy.
